DENVER – Adams State senior
Anna Branscome fired a team-low 81 this morning in the third and final round of the Swan Memorial, held at Todd Creek Golf Club, as the Grizzlies finished 16
th out of 16 teams competing.
Branscome shot a 254 for the tournament (86-87-81), good for a 65
th place tie, besting freshman teammate
Keona Weirick by one shot (89-82-84-255, T67th).
Freshmen
Paige Wright (107-95-101-303, 87th) and
Grace Argo (119-115-110-344, 88
th) rounding out the Grizzlies quartet.
In the tournament, Adams State sank 48 pars, including 18 this afternoon.
Host Colorado Christian took home the team title with a 39-over 903, with Midwestern State (907) and Angelo State (919) completing the top three.
Individually, MSU's Tristan Gabbard earned medalist honors with her 2-over 318, with Colorado Mesa's Cassidy Phelan and Colorado Christian's Emily Donaldson tying for 2
nd at 222.
The Grizzlies resume action in a month at the Farmers Insurance Sam Proal Invite, held at the Pueblo Country Club.
