ALAMOSA, Colo. – Adams State finished 10th out of 11 teams at the CSUP Fall Invite, which concluded Tuesday afternoon, shooting +177 as a team.
Keona Weirick was the top golfer for the Grizzlies, shooting 170 (+26) to finish tied for 41st place. Taylor Butler finished right behind her, tied for 48th, shooting 173 (+29).
Alexis Ortega shot 181 (+37) to finish 57th, and Anastasia Sanchez finished 63rd after shooting 229 (+85).
Freya Constable from CSU Pueblo finished in first place, shooting 143 (-1). CSU Pueblo won the tournament with a team score of +8 over par.
The Grizzlies will be back in action for their final fall tournament next Monday at the Nick Turner Invitational at Fort Lewis.
