Adams State Women’s Golf Closes Out 2025 Campaign in Boulder City

Boulder City, Nev. – The Adams State University women's golf team wrapped up competition at the 2025 RMAC Championships on Tuesday with the third and final round.

The Grizzlies did not receive a team score due to having fewer than four golfers competing, after one player withdrew following the first round.

Keona Weirick climbed two spots to finish 32nd as an individual after posting a plus-8 round on Day 3. Weirick improved on last year's finish by more than 10 spots and shaved 10 strokes off her total over the three days of competition.

Taylor Butler capped off Day 3 with a score of plus-14 to finish the championship in 36th place. In her first season with the Grizzlies, Butler averaged plus-29 over the seven tournaments she competed in this season.

Anastaisa Sanchez finished the championship at plus-117, placing 46th. She shot a 61 on the front nine and a 52 on the back.

CSU Pueblo claimed the team title with a score of +20, while Westminster's Ashley Lam captured individual honors with an impressive 8-under-par performance.

The RMAC Championships marked the final tournament of the season for the Grizzlies, who will now shift their focus to offseason training and continued growth heading into next year's campaign.
