ALAMOSA, Colo. – Adams State University was selected to finish 11th in the 2026 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Men's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll, the conference announced Tuesday.
The Grizzlies received nine points in the preseason voting. The RMAC preseason poll is determined by a vote of the conference's head coaches based on returning players from the previous season's All-RMAC teams.
The University of Colorado Colorado Springs was selected as the preseason favorite, receiving all 10 first-place votes for 100 points. The Mountain Lions enter the 2026 season as the defending RMAC champions after defeating Metropolitan State University of Denver, 3-2, in the 2025 RMAC Championship.
Regis University was selected second with 85 points, followed by Fort Lewis College with 75 points. MSU Denver earned 71 points for fourth, while Colorado State University Pueblo rounded out the top five with 63 points.
Westminster University was selected sixth with 61 points, followed by Colorado Mesa University with 57 points. Colorado School of Mines earned 31 points for eighth, while South Dakota Mines and Colorado Christian finished ninth and 10th, respectively.
Adams State rounded out the poll in 11th place with nine points.
The RMAC also announced its 2026 Preseason All-RMAC Men's Soccer Team, which features 12 student-athletes. UCCS led the conference with three selections, while Regis and CSU Pueblo each placed two players on the preseason team.
The Grizzlies will enter the 2026 season looking to make their mark in a competitive RMAC field.
