One of the most electrifying middle-distance runners in Adams State history, Boris Berian captured national titles in the 800 meters both indoors and outdoors in 2012. After a dominant season, Berian turned professional and quickly made a name for himself on the international stage. In 2016, he earned a spot on Team USA by placing second at the U.S. Olympic Trials in the 800 and went on to compete in the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games, finishing eighth in the final.
