  • Set school record for longest interception return
  • Also served as a student assistant coach for both the football and track teams while finishing his degree
  • Graduated in 1982 with a degree in physical education
  • Has taught and coached in Colorado Springs since
  • Currently serves as head track and field coach at Mitchell High School
  • Led the Marauders to a third place team finish in the 1997 5A State Championships with only seven athletes
  • Has coached numerous state championship athletes and relay teams
