A standout in both football and baseball, Larry Olin showcased remarkable versatility and leadership during his career in the mid-1970s. On the football field, he captained the 1975 Adams State team and was named All-RMAC as a defensive back, also earning NAIA honorable mention All-America honors that same season. On the diamond, Olin was named to the 1975 All-RMAC team and earned 1976 first team all-star honors as a catcher. His rare two-sport success made him one of the most dynamic athletes of his era at Adams State.
