  • 2-time NAIA National Wrestling Champion at 126 lbs.
  • Won his first title in 1980, helping ASC to the NAIA    National Team Title Was a 3-time All-American, leading ASC to RMAC titles in all three years that he wrestled
  • Racked up 71 career wins and a 82.2 winning percentage
  • Inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame in 1989
  • Now serves as head coach at RMAC rival Chadron State
  • Was named RMAC Coach of the Year in 1995
  • Recently selected as the president of the NCAA Division II National Wrestling Coaches’ Association
  • Earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees at ASC in 1982 and 1985, respectively
  • Resides near Chadron, Nebraska with wife Donna, a former ASC gymnast and 1984 ASC graduate
