Served as ASC’s cross country and track & field coach for 28 years
Started nation’s premiere cross country program in 1965
Coached teams to 18 national championships, accounting for more than 350 All-Americans
Voted No. 3 on Colorado’s top collegiate coaches in the past 100 years
Is a 1959 ASC Graduate
Served the U.S. as an international coach on 17 occasions, including several Olympic games
Member of 5 other Hall of Fames including the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame
Gives motivational/ educational lectures across the country and around the world
